We love Fall (mainly because we get to drink Chai Tea every day). Since it's the rainy season, it's also a good excuse to get baking! This time, we've made Salted Caramel Chai Cookies using our Silky Chai blend. Enjoy!
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ cup caramel sauce/bits
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Silky Chai blend (finely ground)
- Sea salt flakes (to sprinkle on top)
Melt together butter, brown sugar and caramel bits in a low heat. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix.
In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients together: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and our chai blend (make sure to finely grind the tea!).
Fold all ingredients together, roll cookies into small balls and bake at 390 degrees for 8-12 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and ENJOY!
