Chai Cinnamon Rolls with Chai Cream Cheese Icing

Silky Chai Cinnamon Rolls

Satisfy that holiday sweet tooth with our Silky Chai cinnamon glaze!

Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tsp quick rise instant yeast
  • 2/3 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup Silky Chai steeped tea
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 egg


  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon

Silky Chai Cream Cheese Icing

  • 2 tbsp Silky Chai 
  • ½ cup boiled water
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup icing sugar


In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt together. Set aside. Mix warm milk, steeped tea and melted butter together. Add instant yeast. Combine mixture with the dry ingredients. Lastly, add egg. Mix the batter carefully and knead the dough until smooth. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

When the dough is ready, roll it up into a flat rectangle shape. Spread melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar together. Roll the dough and cut into 10 small rolls. Lightly grease your pan before arranging your rolls. Cover and let it rest for an hour until double in size.

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven to cool down as you make the icing. Mix together cream cheese, icing sugar and steeped tea until it's smooth and creamy. Spread the icing over the cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
