Very (Chill) Berry Crumble

Very Berry Chill Crumble

Finally, the moment we've been waiting for! This recipe is so delicious, you are going to want to have more than just a slice. Plus, your house is going to smell heavenly, you'll thank us later ;)

For the crumble:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon fine salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup brown/coconut sugar
3/4 cup (or 1 1/2 sticks) frozen unsalted butter, grated (that’s right!)
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large egg yolks

For the fruit mixture:

3 generous cups fresh berries (we used blueberries and raspberries mmm)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Maple syrup or brown sugar
Our Herbal Chill blend (finely ground)


Grate some butter (it's actually fun!) and mix it with brown sugar, flour and eggs. Now get in there with your hands until it all combined and add oats. The more oats you add -- the crispier your crumble will be!

Add maple syrup to the berries or brown sugar depending if you want an added flavour (your house is going to smell heavenly either way).

Make the bottom layer of crumble, add berry filling, add crummies on top and you're good to go!

Bake at 375F degrees for about 40-45 minutes and ENJOY!! And oh, don't forget to send us a picture of your creation! ;)
