Serenity Blue Marble Bread

Serenity Blue Marble Bread

Raise your hand if you love bread, and raise your other hand if you love beautiful looking bread! The taste may be similar to a regular bread, but we are adding Serenity Blue to make it extra gorgeous. Here's our recipe:

Ingredients:

One batch for the Serenity Blue dough:

  • Serenity Blue Blend + 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoons active, dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 egg (keep the rest for the second batch)
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

One batch for regular dough

  • 1 teaspoons active, dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Ingredients:

Steep Serenity Blue blend with hot water for 5 minutes, let it cool down for another 15 minutes. In a large mixing bowl, combine the tea, yeast, and brown sugar. Add in the egg and salt. Stir until dissolved.

Add the flour one cup at a time. Knead until the dough is smooth (and not sticky).

Shape the smooth dough into a ball, place it in a bowl and cover with a dish cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for one hour.

Repeat the process for the second batch (regular without the Serenity Blue tea).

After the rise is complete, flour a rolling pin and roll the dough to a rectangle (both batch, separately). Add the Serenity Blue dough on top of the regular dough. Roll them together into a loaf. Let it rise for another 30 minutes. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes and enjoy!
