Indonesian Gado-Gado Salad Recipe

Gado-gado salad

Gado-gado is one of Indonesian's famous dishes that is not only healthy, but also easy to make. The word gado-gado means "mix" as it is made of a rich mixture of vegetables. Gado-gado is best paired with a nice cup of hot tea. 

Ingredients: Chinese Cabbage + Shredded Carrot + Beansprouts + Boiled Eggs + Fried Tofu + Fried Onion. 



  • 50g peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 2 tsp shrimp paste
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 fat red chillies (optional)
  • 150ml coconut milk
  • 1 Lime
