The Benefits of Clean Green

Moringa is a nutritionally dense root that is common throughout Southeast Asia. It was used in traditional medicine as an immune booster, to treat inflammation, skin conditions, and has research to confirm its nutritional compounds-- vitamin A, Calcium, Potassium, Iron, and Zinc (to name a few). The leaves of the pod are often dried and consumed as tea. The flavor is naturally bitter, so consuming our tea blend (Clean Green) will mask the taste while reaping the benefits! Mint leaf is a common herb, that requires warm temperatures for its cultivation-- which Bali provides. Aside from its refreshing taste and smell, Mint is used traditionally as a medicine for treating minor stomach issues. Additionally, there is research that found positive effects when providing peppermint oil to a large group of participants as a remedy for IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). 

In addition to its wonderful taste, Lemon peel is a potent source of anti-oxidants. There are studies demonstrating its ability to inhibit the production of bacteria, making it great for oral health maintenance. It is also used traditionally as a remedy to lessen the effects of an upset stomach! 

This blend would not be complete without the addition of green tea. Green tea is another potent source of antioxidants and contains a number of health benefits. Furthermore, green tea is naturally caffeinated, giving you the boost you need to keep energized throughout the day.
